What are some common pitfalls or mistakes that people often face when planning social events, and how can they be avoided?
A common mistake people make is underestimating the importance of pre-planning and failing to allocate enough time for it. To ensure a smooth experience, we kindly request all final details 28 days prior to your arrival. Any changes after this deadline may lead to service barriers, as we require notice to order necessary items for your celebrations. Providing all details before the 28-day mark helps us arrange everything seamlessly, avoiding any potential disruptions.
How far in advance should hosts book a venue, and what factors should they consider when making their selection?
We recommend as early as possible to allow time for the planning, invitations, decorations and supplier notice. 6-9 months before the event is enough time to plan your celebrations!
When it comes to choosing a theme or style for an event like a wedding or birthday celebration, what factors should people consider?
When selecting a theme or style for events such as weddings or birthday celebrations, several factors should be taken into consideration. These include personal preferences, cultural, venue size and shape, budget, and the overall atmosphere desired for the occasion. We can cater to any theme and style with any colour scheme - our preferred supplier for external decorations has multiple colours that would best suit and fit your vision to become a reality for your special day.
Can you provide examples of memorable food and beverage pairings or signature cocktails that have been a hit at past social events?
Yes, of course! Our Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand pairs beautifully with our pan-fried fillet of salmon from our Memories Made Classic Menu and our roast fillet of sea bass from our Extra Special Menu.
