      King George V Room
      Perfect for weddings

      Beautifully restored parquet flooring, elegant high ceilings, ornate cornicing, original sash windows, and oak panelling combine to make the King George V the perfect backdrop for an elegant social event.
      The room has been named after King George V who laid the first stone for the foundation of the building and first opened the building with Queen Mary in 1922.

      Perfect for weddings

      The Library is steeped in history and served as the Members Library for delegates at the Greater London Council. At 262 square metres, The Library can accommodate receptions for 100 people, private dining for 50 and conferences for up to 40. The Library holds bookcases made of English oak which support the busts of writers and classical figures including Shakespeare, Milton, Agrippa and Plato.

      Reserve our semi-private dining area for a family celebration, business dinner or team outing. At the rear of Gillray's Steakhouse, seperated through curtains, this intimate setting is perfect for a celebration or private dinner for up to 24 guests and will wow your invitees for its inspiring views. For larger events, up to 120 guests, we offer the opportunity to exclusively hire Gillray's Steakhouse for your unique event. An entire Steakhouse, catering to your needs will truly wow your guests.
